Vacations in a tent can be a real pleasure - especially when the weather is nice and you are in South Korea.

Research shows that lovers of active leisure in nature more often choose a tent than other forms of holiday accommodation. Children also love going camping. Typically, this form of active rest is associated with an interesting adventure. Adults, while getting older, demand more and more comfort and unfortunately – they are less willing to spend their vacation in a tent.

Perhaps the design of Achiworkshop architectural studio will encourage "comfy people" to go camping. This unusual campsite is located in Yang - Pyeong, South Korea. The tents are made of a specially designed, double-layer membrane which is stretched on a metal racks. This material is resistant to UV, water and fire. Each tent has cooking facilities, a sofa bed and ... toilet. The sleeping area is separated from the bathroom by the walls presenting the works of Korean artist. Glazed doors provide the natural light.

In this unusual campsite, there are two types of tents. The first one, in the shape of long cornering, has been designed for the rural areas. The second one is intended for use in the mountains, its shape resembles a flat, round stone.

Aesthetic, functional and quite comfy – that is how just a few words can describe this innovative project of tents.
