Pollen – perfect for tiredness and concentration problems.

The most well-known bee product all over the world is honey. It is worth using also other benefits made by bees because they have many healthy qualities. One of them is pollen.

The bee pollen is the pollen gathered by bees and partially processed by them. The gathered pollen in the form of small balls are carried to the beehive to be digested for the food for the young insects. Each of those balls consists of about 100 000 pollen seeds.

The colour of the pollen depends on the type of the plant. The most usual is yellow and fair brown. The halthy influence of the pollen is known for centuries. In the bee pollen there are 36 macro- and microelements , including silicon, sulfur, copper, silver, zink, chromium, molybdenum, iron, calcium, magnesium and vitamins C, B1 and PP.

The clinical researches show that the high content of proteins and carbohydrates in the pollen helps covering the proteins deficit. Selenium, manganese and zink influence the functioning of the immunological system and iron, copper, cobalt and manganese play a big role in treating anemia.

In the state of debility, tiredness and other treatment aims it is recommended to eat 4-8 teaspoons of the pollen a day in the separated doses, taken an hour before the meal. The absorption of the pollen is stronger when the drink is sweetened with honey, not with sugar.

Pollen should be avoided by people allergic to honey and other bee products!
