Das Park Hotel

Sewage pipe, contrary to appearances, does not have to be used for removing sewage only. Creators of "Das Park Hotel", located in Ottensheim in Austria came up with a rather unusual and at the same time interesting usage of pipes.

This eco-friendly complex consists of huge sewer pipes converted into micro- apartments. Each minimalistic apartment has 6.5 feet of diameter, which is almost 199 cm. The apartments have windows which ensure the sunlight, additionally interior is decorated with paintings of Austrian artist -Thomas Latzel Ochoa. The basic features consist of a double bed, storage space and a place to recharge equipment.

These unusual apartments do not have bathrooms, but the hotel ensures the room with toilets, showers, as well as a cafe and a mini bar. There is also a swimming pool nearby. The hotel is open from May to October. If you think in this hotel there is nothing to surprise you - you are wrong. What is the most unconventional element are the rules concerning the charging rates. The system is called "pay as you please", and more specifically- as much as you price the room.
