Physical activity for young mothers is not only a time off from their daily responsibilities, but it is also a great way to get back to their shape before pregnancy quickly and healthy. But right away, there is a question – can a mum be active if there is nobody to take care of her child? It turns out that, the answer is yes. You can spend time actively with a child. How can you do it? Just go to BuggyGym classes.
BuggyGym - is a fitness centre for mothers, the name comes from the English word Buggy - meaning a baby carriage. It is a form of fitness activity for a parent with a small child. During the training, which takes place in the open air, exercises with buggy are performed, they are aerobic ones, that are strengthening, shaping and stretching. A child is sleeping in a buggy or is looking around with curiosity. Mum doesnt need to worry how to get out from home to practise fitness and who will take care of her baby because the baby can be with her all the time. Classes are held in the morning, when mothers are usually at home, alone with their children. This kind of activity will enable them to "go out" and meet other active mums.
The BuggyGym has arisen from the idea to encourage mums to do something for themselves. To show that a walk with a child in a buggy does not have to be boring at all, and that time spent on another lap around a housing estate, can be spend on having great fun together with other mums, on laughing, but above all on moving actively.
The BuggyGym initiator is Šárka Solecka. A Czech, a doctor, the Czech Republic champion in curling. Now she lives in Bielsko-Biała. Wojteks wife, a mother of Marek, Anna and Filipek. The rest of her team are, of course, women. What they all have in common is fact that they are mums themselves, therefore, they know mums needs, and the fact that they are all extremely active. Currently, BuggyGym classes are held in Bielsko-Biała, Cieszyn, Katowice, Warszawa, Kraków, Ustroń, Wrocław, Opole and soon all over Poland! Every month, trainings for BuggyGym instructors are also organized.
