Black Desert House

House in the middle of the desert? Its not just a mirage, it is "Black Desert House". This house is unique. "Black Desert House" is a joint project of Marc Atlan Design and Oller & Pejic Architects. This amazing structure means that you can sit and stare at the desert landscape from dawn to dusk. The house is situated in the Joshua Tree National Park. It is a place, which, is very popular among lovers of climbing and bouldering due to commonly occurring clusters of natural rock formations and fantastic shaped giant boulders.

The building was made of quartz, steel and high gloss anthracite. The inner courtyard is a combination of simplicity and nature. A tree planted in the middle of the courtyard is the perfect complement to raw design. Huge glass windows provide plenty of natural light and amazing, almost fairy-tale views. The designers wanted to create a design in such a way as to be able to enjoy the amazing scenery at any time of day or night.

This unique, minimalist hideaway provides a special feeling of peace, comfort as well as amazing views and blissful silence. Although it is located in the desert, it is just two-hours drive from Los Angeles, and 30 minutes from Palm Springs, Yucca Valey.
