Vine grape

Vine Grape - there is probably no one who would not know this plant. Viticulture has the longest tradition in the history of agriculture. We not only eat its delicious fruits. It is used to make wine, and the leaves are used in the treatment of venous circulatory disorders.

Vine is native to Asia Minor, but it is very common in Europe, especially in all the Mediterranean countries. It contains flavonoids, tannins, catechins, organic acids, phenyl acid, and resveratrol. It strengthens and protects veins and it has antioxidant properties.

By strengthening the vein walls, it prevents inflammation, giving veins flexibility at the same time, it has vasodilator properties, which in turn facilitate the flow of the blood.

The grapevine is an excellent mean of improving abnormal circulation in the lower limbs. It protects from varicose veins, it relieves pain associated with them. It gives good results in the treatment of inflammation of the veins, relieves pain connected with heavy legs, it prevents from muscle cramps caused by poor circulation.

Phytotherapy uses vine leaves. They should be collected in autumn, dried, stored in airtight containers, protected from light and moisture.
