Anna Figura will try to set a new women ascent record on Elbrus

Dynafit Athlete Anna Figura the young and talented top Polish ski mountaineer and ultra running girl is already on her way to the Caucasus Mountains. Anna will start in the famous vertical Elbrus Race (September, 24th) and try to set a new women speed record on Russia’s Elbrus (5642 m). It was a fresh one made this year in may during the spring edition of the Red Fox Elbrus Race Vertical Km by Russian skyrunner Oksana Stefanishina. The time to reach the peak took her 4hrs 49mins.

Anna will run the Extream Class full route. The first part starts from about 2400 m near new cable car station and finish near refuge Barrels on ~3708 m. Next part starts from refuge Barrels (3708m) till the West Top of Elbrus (5642 m).
The whole length of the route is around 12,2 km

Until the start Anna will acclimatize and is also planing to climb the mountain. She feels great and happy for a new adventure in the mountains. 3 weeks ago she run on Mont Blanc reaching thed summit in 5hrs:17 min.
