Air plant

Air plant is a plant resistant to the harsh climate of Madagascar, it helps enhance human immunity. It is widely used to support the treatment of many troublesome illnesses. Air plant combats viruses, fungi and bacteria. It regenerates and it has anti-inflammatory properties. It improves the immune system, so it is a great supplement for the treatment of pneumonia and conjunctivitis, fungal infections, bedsores, ulcers, wounds, as well as acne or dandruff.



Air plant, in order to survive in the harsh, dry environment, has produced thick and fleshy leaves. They contain a high amount of vitamin C, manganese, copper, selenium, aluminum, silicon, potassium, calcium or iron. It has cholagogic properties. It is recommended to chew the leaves during angina or persistent cough. Air plant anesthetizes the throat and it will accelerate the process of returning to health.

Air plant Juice:
Leaves should be washed, dried and wrapped in paper. Prepared in this way, they should be stored for several days in the refrigerator. Then, in a glass dish they should be crumpled into a pulp. Put them again in the fridge for a few days. After this time the juice should be drained off and left for 7 days in a dark place. After this time, is ready to drink.



Air plant ointment:
Melt 100 grams of coconut oil and add 1 ½ tablespoons of juice with Air plant to it. The ointment prepared this way can be put on damaged hands or feet attacked by fungal infection. The ointment is also great for scratches. The important thing is to keep it in the refrigerator, preferably in a dark glass jar.

Be sure to prepare air plant using wood, glass or ceramic tools, never – metal ones. Air plant can be grown in a pot. The optimal temperature for the plant is 15-23 degrees Celsius. It should be watered two times a week. The beneficial properties have annual and older plants.
