A Carp has also some rights!

Every year the Gaja club (Polish ecological group) with the support of institutions, actors, writers, journalists and citizens remind the Poles that a Carp, which is being sold alive in the great numbers just before Christmas – can feel pain, fear and stress. All cases of inhumane treatment of the Carp i.e. carrying the alive Carp in the plastic bag, mutilation or keeping it without water, can be reported to the police. In this year campaign called "Still Alive Carp", the Gaja Club starts cooperation with police commanders to protect effectively animals rights, including the Carp.
